Kirby and the Amazing Mirror

Single Session, 1P, Any Percent

General Comments:

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror was one game that has a bit of an interesting history for speed running. I originally started doing this around September 2006 and found it to be a lot of fun to speed run. Shortly after getting a few versions done, I met some competition, a man named "Gigafrost", who I knew from TAS Videos.

And he posted a time that was several minutes faster then me. Try as I might, couldn't beat it. I started to get close, but then he pulled out way ahead of me - to which I admitted defeat.

But something had always bugged me about his run, and finally about a year and a half later, I worked up enough skill again and managed to successfully beat his time. This is the first (and only time, presently) that I've had some competition on a run. I've had another run beaten, but it wasn't like this - head to head competition.
